From touching down on the Outer Banks after the first fully autonomous flights across the country to celebrating the future of flight with @NCDOT and @NC_Governor Stein in Raleigh, this leg of the Electric Skies Tour was one to remember.
And while the tour rolls on, our work in North Carolina is just getting started, with eIPP operations scheduled to continue in the state.
More than 120 years after the Wright Brothers took flight at Kitty Hawk, aviation’s next chapter is being written in North Carolina. After completing the first cross-country autonomous flight, our J208 aircraft flew from Dare County Regional Airport to @RDUAirport as part of @NCDOT's eLIFT-NC First Flights Showcase, demonstrating how regional flight can expand access and connect communities across the state.
