Foster Aviation 将 Aeroberm 垂直起降平台技术引入阿联酋

Foster Aviation and Aeroberm have announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the development of vertiport infrastructure across the United Arab Emirates.

Under the agreement, Dubai-based Foster Aviation will serve as Aeroberm’s partner in the UAE, working with air safety regulators and the property sector to identify and develop vertiport sites throughout the country.

The partnership combines Foster Aviation’s experience in aircraft sales, vertiport design and construction, and regulatory engagement with Aeroberm’s patented vertipad technology.

Aeroberm said its system is designed to address three of the key challenges associated with vertiport certification: downwash and outwash wind forces, lithium-ion battery fire risk and noise impacts.

The company’s patented fractal panel deck is designed to dissipate wind energy more quickly than conventional tarmac surfaces, while an optional integrated dunk tank system can fully submerge aircraft batteries in the event of a thermal runaway incident.

As part of the collaboration, Foster Aviation will showcase an Aeroberm fractal panel prototype at VertiExpo Dubai, taking place from 14 to 16 December 2026 at Festival Arena, Festival City. The companies will also begin accepting advance orders for delivery during 2027.

Mohamed Saleem, managing director of Foster Aviation, said the development would support the UAE’s ambitions in advanced air mobility.
