Celebrating history at the Air Capital of the World.

Wichita is home to Cessna, now part of @TextronAviation, one of the legendary aircraft makers that earned this city its title.

So bringing our autonomous J208, built on a Cessna Caravan, to the Kansas Aviation Museum earlier this week was a true homecoming.

Bill Bergman, the experimental test pilot who flew the Caravan's very first flight on December 9, 1982, joined us for the visit. Bill logged 420 of the aircraft's first 450 test flight hours, and four decades later he stood beside a Caravan fresh off the first fully autonomous cross-country flight in history.
